    Why purple names?

    Why do some names appear purple under the thread starter heading? For eample: Cander, kasracer, Something Else. I can't see any reason why they should appear a different color.

    Like mendhak mentioned, its something to do with ALINK(Active Link) and VLINK(Visited Link) tags. Though the default color is specified by the browser sites can specify different color of their choice.
