stop user from entering combobox..

I want the user to be able to use the dropdown box but just not change the text that is in there. Is there an attribute to change stop this fro happening.

Set it to DropDownList

Change the DropDownStyle property to DropDownList and it will force them to select an existing item and take away the option to type in the text area.

I'm getting slow in my old age and forgetful. I had to look up the actual name of the property because I forgot.

I also had to look it up, and thought I had better refresh the post to see if anyone had responded, because of the ease factor of the question.
