I would like to know if I can control my VCR with my laptop. I just want to know if something like this is possible, either through a wireless network or something else. Where I can place a Video into the VCR and then whenever I want to I can control the VCR with my laptop, main functions being Play and Stop for now. In other words I would like to use my laptop as the VCR remote.

Please provide feedback or more ideas of how I can do such a thing.
