Well, in all 4 years of having my custom made pc, it keep locking up. Yesterday, it totally f****d up, needed a full surface scan on C: an D: drives. The point is, i need to move into the modern world slightly. Basically my current specs are (roughly)

12Gb HD
128.0Mb Ram
586Mhz Intel Celeron
Windows 98SE

And the question is, should i spend cash on a new PC (i dont want XP!), or upgrade things? If i were to upgrade, id probably go for Processorn and RAM. Say 256Mb Ram, 1.2Ghz

How much would it cost for such specs? Bearing in mind i live in UK, any sites or help would be truly appreciated :)

Is this good value for money, and good quality?

I highly doubt that your mobo supports DDR.

Yes... it is a good deal, but you're motherboard won't support DDR if it's 4 years old!

You probably need SDR which is usually PC100/133 in speed, and usually between 64mb and 1Gb in double sided sizes.

Make sure you get the right type...
