Ads/Banners in my software

I'm currently a VB Programmer, and I remember that in the past I came across several services that allowed me to put a control (which they have supplied) in my software, that displays banners and send to that particular service information about the implementation of the banner over the internet, and I, the programmer of that software, would have received money according to the number of clicks/exposure/etc... These days I'm looking for such services but unable to find any, do you know some?

well obviously my aim is to create an user friendly app as well, but money is not a disgraceful word ;) and to make things clear I don't mean spyware, but a legitimate banner advertising. My aim is not to install a spyware... The information sent is only about the number of clicks and exposure of the banner only. It's Adware. A banner like those in ICQ, or Flashget or GetRight or whatever app that has a banner in it... Sorry if it seems that I'm explaining the obvious, but I already bumped into misunderstanding of my aim.

Did you get the money? How much did you make?
