CrystalReports setting datasource at runtime [Resolved]

If anyone like me, has frustratingly found that the examples of setting a datasource at runtime did not seem to work when setting at runtime, here is an excellent link:

I simply did not understand the method.

Chapter 14 of this book exactly explains the method,better than I can here. Having spent, days maybe weeks trying to get it right, the chapter explains it completely and it definitely works.

Ah sometimes we are so keen to get the solution we forget the problem
