Is this normal behavior?
A couple days ago, this started happening on a regular basis. I'd startup my laptop, and after some time of using it, the battery light indicator would start flashing. The manual told me (I have a talking manual), that a flashing light indicated "the AC Adaptor is connected, but the batter is either not present or has some fault with it."
Since the battery's there, it has to have some fault. But what fault? I pulled the battery out, and it was hot. And when I mean hot, I mean hot. (I managed to fry an omelette on it).
I left it out for a while, waited for it to cool down, and put it back in. The light stopped flashing, and was continuous. Indicating that it's charging. The light never turns green nowadays (indicating fully charged). It just stays orange, indicating "charging."
So what's going on? What do I do? Want an omelette?
