Red face Password on DOS?[Think its solved...]

    Hi.
On our school there is a computer with "MS DOS" installed no windows, no mouse, no nothing(expect from keyboard :P )
So i did "dir" and i saw what directorys where on the HD.Then I told my friend "Do you want to destroy the computer?" and he said "OK" so i told him to type "delete DOS" good that he typed "delet" because he isnt so good at english...
So then our teacher said "Lets put a password so there wont be any problems" and he did "nd pro.com"(im not sure if it was pro.com...) and then he edited autoexec.bat file.He put the following lines:
    Code:
    cd pro.com
    promt Invalid Password
I think that this is all fake because when the computer starts it says "Invalid Password".
My dad said that if I press "Ctrl + C" at the startup it will prevent from running the autoexec.bat file.
The thing that I didnt understand is why he made the directory...
So is this something "fake" ?
    Thanks...
