mp3 ripper
has anyone ever created an mp3 ripper using the lame encoder? If so, how would I go about making my own? what's the best resource to find info on the project?

That's pretty neat code. Has anyone seen examples that deal with visual basic? I've got the LAME encoder and would like to make my own ripper so I can add my own features. Pretty much just for s**ts and giggles.

vb.net sir. If you have any information such as a web-site or a thread on this forum that could point me in the right direction, that would be great!

I think it will matter a LOT, having a cd to mp3 with have very good quality and be between 40-70 mbs while with wav's this file size can be achieved with just one .WAV...
