Is there a way to do this, maybe somewhere deep in the registry? ^_^ For security reasons, I would like to disable some of the menu items in all MS Office products(mainly word, excel,pp).
I'm looking to get rid of Tools>Macro (whole menu), File>Open, Save, Save as, and File>Search.

If you are on a domain, you should be able to downoad the Office policy settings from the Microsoft site. I think there was an option to restrict things like that. Just create a new policy and restrict the setting that you need.

Finally found it:ORK for OfficeXP (http://download.microsoft.com/download/OfficeXPProf/Install/10.0.4601.0/W982KMeXP/EN-US/orktools.exe).
And Here's (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ieak/downloads/ieak6/download.asp) something similar for IE6, if anyone finds it helpful also.

There's a lot you can customize for it, it's very handy.
