help me document.. I'm lost :(

one of my apps is growing too big, and I cant keep track of all the classes and functions that I have in there...
I need a proper way to document the project, like to explain what each class and each function does. I started making tables to list all of the functions in a MS-WORD file, but it isnt too easy to keep track of them/update the info in a msword file. Is there a proper tool for these kind of jobs?
any tools for documenting AND/OR for managing the project?

QuarkXPress, IMO, would be a bit easier to use than MS-WORD. However, it isn't made for this type of thing so I'm sure really sure on any suggestions.

How large is the project exactly?

    umm photoshop

hehe just kidding. Umm it's just a SLOW vector based drawing app. The old version was in vb6 and was basically like ms-paint, with a few effects. It was REALLY buggy and EXTREEMLY slow

this one is a little slow too, but not too much, the problem with it is that it still doesnt do anything the main part of it which handles all the drawing and stuff is only 3000 lines, the rest is the custom user controls, some utilities and blah....

eeh this is an screenshot of the old one

To start, Build 'Comment Web Pages' to see what you have there.
    'Heading for the automatic overload'
Marillion, Brave, The Great Escape, 1994

'How will WE stand the FIRE TOMORROW?'
Eloy, Silent Cries and Mighty Echoes, The Vision - Burning, 1979

naah I dotn really like that I can VIEW the stuff that I have with class view... but seems like there is no way to easily view every thing AND at the same time get information about the functions
