Getting few error while loading Windows 98. Pls help
The error that I get is during windows 98 loading I gives me a message that:-

The Windows Registry or System.ini refers to these files but the device files no longer exists try reinstalling the application or replace the missing files. The file are:
1.vnetsup.vxd
2.vredir.vxd
3.dfs.vxd


I don't know what these files are and I tried searching for these files but I couldn't. Please give me a solution to resolve this problem.

And one more error that I get is during windows 98 the error appears i.e.
Unable to locate dynamic link library:-
msnp32.dll
The system cannot find the file specified


Please help me out in these two problem. Thank you so very much in advance!

You said that you were running windows 98 right?

If so, boot in dos and while in c:\ type in "scanreg /restore"


that should give you some dates of older copies of your registry and you can choose one.

Trying to be as clear as possible, if you dont understand just tell me.
