    could someone please tell me what vba us actually gud for?

    VBA

    The question asked is, basically, "What is VBA good for?"

    My answer is: Visual Basic for Applications allows one to do things in the various Microsoft applications, such as Word, Excel, Access, etc. that cannot be done otherwise.

    VBA is a tool for those that need it, much as a hammer is a tool for a carpenter, and a trowel is a tool for a mason.
