hello,
I have two hard disks one of 40 GB and another of 20 Gb.

I have planned to install win2k on 40gb HD
and linux seperately on 20 Gb HD.

That means i will have only hard disk enabled at a time.

i dont wanna make my system multi-boot with especially Linux .

Tell me .....Should i go for multi-boot or install independent
OS ....any more suggestions...welcomed..

plss do tell me abt ur views....

waiting for replies..
Regards,
Prasad

Using multi-boot makes things easier but there is the problem of not being able to boot windows if for some reason u get rid of linux. Having them on different hd's gets rid of this problem but it can get annoyin when you have to change the boot order everytime you want to change os.

thanx for the suggestion...

but i would be mostly using win2k for 5 days a week
and remaining days linux.
So it would not that be annoying ...rite?
So i guess i take ur suggestion for installing Os on different HD's

Any more suggestions...
welcomed
