Configuration problem with MTS

I am currently developing a three tier VBApp using VB 6 / MTS 2 / SQL Server 7 on NT4 SP5 Platforms. My problem is with MTS:-

I have attempted to run Tic Tac Toe in order to confirm that MTS is configured correctly. However, the components within the Tic Tac Toe package do not spin.

Can anyone help?

Thanks for trying to help.

MTS Platform is NT4 SP4 running as a BDC (BDC = Dual 2+PII 350mhz.

LAN uses NETBUI Not TCP/IP

SQL Server 7 Platform - NT4 W/Station SP 4/5 running as an application server.

I installed MTS from Option Pack CD Version 2.0

I carried out a custom installation.

1. All options deselected
2. Transaction server selected - chose all sub-components
3. No 2 automatically selects all necessary components required
4. Selected next

Packages that the Installation installs:-
1. System
2. TicTacToe
3. Sample Bank
4. Utilities
(nb. IIS packages etc are not installed)

NT4 group called "MTS<>Administrators" created
User "MTS<>Administrator" created and added to group (Domain admin rights granted)

New role in system created called "MTS<>Administrator" and NT Group added to it.

System Package:- "Enable Authorisation checking" TICKED

Only people logged on as MTS Administrators can ammend packages.
