Unhappy Shot myself in the foot

I made a database in access and vba.
I thought I'd finished it so I sealed it up....(Tools, startup unchecked everything)
The problem is I want to edit The forms.....
is there a way to do it? All I can see is this:

    Help please!
(I can get into the code still, but not the form design...)

do you know about Shift on startup?

close the db, find it in Windows Explorer, then hold shift while double clicking on it.

when it opens you'll be able to access everything (and can let go of shift!)
