I didn't where to go to ask this question. I need to record a few keys from keyboard which is in one of the inputs of my computer for a VB program I'm creating. Well verytime I record, my toshiba computer records all sounds coming from the built-in microphone. I've got win95, & I have tried changing inputs but all it says in the recording section is 'ESS Audio Drive Recorder(220) & none. I've tried both settings & failed. Can anyone help me or know(internet site) where I can get help?
Thanks in advanced

ps
I forgot to mention I use windows wav recorder for recording. Oh yeah when I do not record I can hear my keyboard through the speakers, it only when I start recording it cuts out. The same problem occurs when I am trying record a song from a cd.

Try muting the microphone input.
I refuse to tie my hands behind my back and hear somebody say "Bend Over, Boy, Because You Have It Coming To You".
