    Any Unix/FTP gurus out there? need help!! *** RESOLVED ***

    I want to send some files from a unix machine to a directory on my local machine from within a unix shell script. Can this be done via an ftp command?

    I'm fairly familiar with ftp from the ftp prompt executing a command at a time but would like to send the files without user involvment if poss.

    If not can it be done any other way?
