DHTML editor

I have an application that uses DHTML editor component, i did it using IE 4 components, but now i installed IE 5.5 and when shows the content menu the items that are checked or gray only displays the first character.

I think that higher versions should support lower versions and enhance those, but in this case i don't see that is happening.

Please if you have any solution forward it to me.
