    Firmware problem... need help...

    Hi,
    where can I find a firmware update for LG CED-8120 cd-r drive?

    Be VERY careful when flashing that drive!!!

    I have the same one, and unless you meet the exact setup the installer requires, you WILL wreck your drive.

    The LG CED8120B is the only drive i've seen with 8mb Cache! It's a cracker!

    There's really nothing to it m8!

    Make sure your PSU is ample for the job, and underpowered systems tend to fail on flash updates! If you think you may be overloading it, then disconnect other items first, just to be safe

    Since reading your post, i've looked for the flash file on the server, and haven't located it yet... but i'll upload it when I do! )
