    guru help needed

    i need to figure out how to get an icon from a imagelist using api. when i send lvm_getitem to the listview it just returns the index of the icon in it's image list but i can't find a way to get the icon itself. this is all api. any help would be appreciated.

    Is the imagelist created using API?
    Or is it an imagelist control on a form?

    Sorry, I am not sure how you would do this
    However, at www.vbAccelerator.com they have the source code for their custom imagelist....dunno if this may help, but it may use the same things as you are trying to do.

    You are probably best off PM MerrionComputing on here, or Hack on GalahTech.net...they'll probably know.
