In response to your question yesterday , yes I am a bit of a trekkie , in fact I love the next gen and voyager. Don't like DS9 , in fact I can't stand it !

Thats were I got my name , you probably guessed. Do you like Star trek.

PS I am perfectly normal guy with a wife and kids , trekkies get portrayed as real sad geeks that walk around quoting W.Shatner all day ( thats not me honest ! )

I know what you mean. When I was younger my mom took me to several Star Trek conventions, I've met all the actors, etc. She's a big trekkie, I'm not so big on it. I do however like the movies and next generation. I haven't watched it much in the last few years. My wife isn't big on sci-fi. She didn't even know what the force was before we saw the latest Star Wars movie.

Whenever I make it home I marvel at my mom's collection of all of the old Star Trek espisodes.

She's really into it.
