I am looking for a way to have outlook autmatically respond to an email recieved from one of 2 different accounts setup in outlook.

To help clarify I will give an example...

I have an email account with Direcway and SBC.

I have outlook recieving email on both accounts right now.

My direcway account is going to be closed out soon so I want to set up outlook to respond to any incomming email to "me@direcway.com" with a message telling them the new email address.

Is this possible?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Rudy

It is possible but why not just use the Message Rules that is built in to Outlook?

It will be so much quicker and easier than messing around with Outlooks (somewhat confusing) object model.

Just go to Tools > Rules Wizard.

If you decide you want to code it yourself. Post back and I'll give you an example. I'll wait until then it may save us both sometime. ;)
