How do I set form and control captions on a C# form (I'm using Sharpdevelop), and how would I fix this project-my designed form doesn't show the bDesktop.cs form and when I compile the form loses its backcolor property settings-how can I make it not changed when i build it??

You mean : form1.Text="blah" . This will change forms titlebar text .

Hmm , "show the bDesktop.cs form" What's this ? What do you mean ?

OK, so how do i display the form named bDesktop insted of a form called mainform?-and without losing its form backcolor-it comes up with ad eafult grey color not the color i selected.
