    i guess this isn't directly a VB question (unless vb code can accomplish what i want), but...

    I have a custom audio codec that i am using to create some sounds in an application. How can i install and register that codec on the target user's machine? Any help would be appreciated (code to make VB do the work or other instructions on how to register audio codecs)

    I would also be interested in knowing how to install and register video codecs, because I am planning on doing some video work later on.
