I am using vb6 and DAO data control when
I connect this data control with Acess 2000 it display
a error of database format can anyone tell me to
cope with it

I had the same problem, and posted a thread, wherein I got a satisfactory reply. I am forwarding the same advice to you, so don't thank me.

If you are using DAO object library 3.51, use 3.6 instead. It is designed to work with Access 2000.
