In my system i am having only one hadr disk

but when i check it through fdisk command then it shows 2 hadrdisk with 2nd one active.

why is it
what should i do to rectify it:confused: :confused: :( :eek:

Those are called partitions - kind of sections to the drive.

When you build a computer, you can section off parts of your drive so each section will be seen by windows etc. as a separate drive, i.e. you can say I want a primary section which takes up maybe 20% of the drive space - to be called the C:\ drive which I want to install windows onto, then I'll have the rest of the drive shown as D:\ for me to install all the apps & games too...
