Email problem - Need urgent help...[UNRESOLVED]
Hey guys, I hope someone can help me with this urgent problem that started a couple of days ago.
I logged into my hotmail account as usual, but I could not delete any emails, and I could not empty my junk mail, or even send any emails.
When you try to do any of the above, it just goes really slowly and eventually goes to the "page cannot be found" screen...I also am getting a script error, which changes - usually "missing character" or "operand not found".
I tried upgrading MSN, IE and reset security settings and internet settings.
I tried with Netscape and Opera but could not even access my inbox with those.
I then tried at access my Yahoo email, I signed in, and when I clicked on "inbox" the page immediately goes to "page cannot be displayed".
I tried using outlook express linked to hotmail, I could delete emails, but still cannot send any.
I even tried posting on this forum last nite on my computer - but event that would not work....
So I am on a computer at work, which works ok. So it must be a problem with my home PC.
I have not installed any new software, O/S is Win 2000 Prof.
The only thing thta has changed is that there was a couple of automatic updates by Win2k, could thia have caused the problem?
Can anyone help me solve this mystery?
Thanks everyone...

I used oto get problems like this when using win98 on a dial-up connection. Upgrading to w2k helped, as did getting ADSL.

Well I am using WIN2k, and I have 600k cable connection.
I am going to try to uninstall the latest "fixes" from microsoft later to see if that solves it.
