Woka, I'm assuming you didn't like Microsoft's Help Workshop? The latest version (1.4) isn't the most intuitive, but once you get the hang of it, it's not too bad.

It does have a few quirks and I have also found a few bugs, but Microsoft is supposed to be getting ready to release the next version soon.

Resistance is futile, you will be compiled . . . Please!

I assume you are talking about the one which comes with VS.NET

Because one shipped with VS 6 wasn't that bad.

    BTW:
    http://www.microsoft.com/office/ork/...ndx/appa06.htm
^ Appears to be only Version 1.3 of HTML Help, but VB 6.0 has the version 4.74 installer with it, cant remember what the path of the install is, but its called "HTMLHelp.exe" on the disk ETC (It has to be installed seperately from VB)

the VB 6.0 HTMLHelp is pretty good, need to learn some of the features of it still, but once i take a day out to actually read the help files etc,,, shud b sorted - i spent ages looking for a decent (free) HTML Help Compiler before i found the VB one

    One version past vs6.

I agree, it isn't too bad. Not perfect, but not bad!
