the msv file just has to be copied into the windows system dir of the pc. I have had a few occurances of needing more than just the runtime files...ON one particular Macro program I needed the list32.ocx and oleau32.dll...why, I have no idea but when I tried to run the exe on a virgin machine (no VB installation), it came up and told me I was missing or the files were corroupt or bla bla.
I copied 3 files on a disk and installed them into the windows system and volia...it's been working since.
Not your most academic approach but in my case it solved the problem as I was only dealing in house and with one pc.

Is there a nice clean way to do the install mentioned above?
I've come across (sorry!!) regsvr32.exe, is this what you are
refering to, or is there anohter way.
Anyway, I thought that Access ODK would do this automatically.
