Guys and girls,
I am best-manning my best-friends wedding in a couple of weeks and I'm writing my speech. I thought I might chuck in a few 'traditional' wedding jokes - if I can come up with some that are reasonably inoffensive!!! :)
For 'traditional' I guess you could read 'stereotypical' - but relating to the best-man's role, something along the lines of:
'I'm glad this is a traditional English wedding, where all the best man has to do is shite himself silly about making a speech, and not a traditional Hill Billy wedding where I'd have to be the bride's brother. And the groom's dad.'
Can anybody think of anything along similar lines? I'd accept submissons relating to any religious/ethnic group (in the fine tradition of not being PC when telling jokes!). However, the more 'generic' the group the less likely I am to offend anyone!
Anything you can come up with would be apprecciated.
(What am I letting myself in for ? :P)
