    Hey guys

Maybe this won't really be suitable for VB forum, but you guys are the best.

    Please help me out here.

My friend's PC has got this problem.
Somehow, (while downloading some Italian files) the system time and date started displaying in Italian. Also, in other places, (like in Excel, if you type a date and hit enter it will convert to Italian). Well, I went to Win.ini and found that, sure enough the language was set to ITA (italian). Also, decimal was set to comma, currency to L
    and so on.

I changed them all back to the correct ones for ENU (US english) and restarted the PC.

But they are still in Italian.

Anybody here know why or, better still, how to get this back to English?

Thanks again, and sorry that this was not VB-related.

This is bizzar right enough. Have you tried making the changes via Control Panel (as Microsoft recommend)?

    Sorry.

    Got that thru Regional Settings.

Why didn't that occur to me sooner?

I guess, i'm getting in the habit of coming here for answers before thinking through the problem.

    Thanks again.
