    Internet Explorer

Something is messing with my browser. I have to press the back button 2 to 3 times to go back. It's blocking all banner ads [sometimes good ], its blocking sites. It's not a virus although I will scan a 2nd time. I have no firewall running. Any Ideas.

you better provide more info regarding your IE version and service packs and other settings instead of FARTING .

Have you installed a custom Hosts file?

I had similar problems which could only be fixed by going back to my original Hosts file.

    hmmm...

i have had that problem before and the only way i managed to get rid of it was to uninstall IE and reinstall it after using all the wipe programs i could find. (ad aware and Norton windoctor.)

are you using ad blocker in Norton internet security?
