I'm new to VB and this one should be simple
I am working on my first real VB Program
and am trying to set the Icon that displays for the Application itself. I am using VB.Net 2003 Acad.
I changed the Icon property, The Icon show up at the top of the form but the Icon for the program is still the default
Most of my books are on VB 6 and have not been any help.
Idea's??
Thanks.

this is not a VB.NET forum --- that one is down the hall to your left.

Gosh I'm Sorry,
The forum title says general VB questions.
I figured how to set the Icon was about as general as you could get and VB .Net is the current version.
Thanks for help!
By the Way, exactly what version of VB is this forum about just so I know next time.

mostly it's VB6, but occasionally VB5 and even earlier versions get discussed. VB.NET has its own forum

The picture isn't missing
there is also a very good reason for this.. most of the versions of vb to version 6 have relatively the same format of coding, but vb.net has many many new changes.
Remember, if someone's post was not helpful, you can always rate their post negatively .

and even more to the point, the underlying technology of VB.NET has nothing to do with that of the previous versions of VB. Only the name is the same, and that's just a marketing ploy by Microsoft.
