I have a main report and one subreport. When run directly through cyrstal reports everything works perfectly but when I execute the main report through VBcode, the subreport does not bring back any data.

The link to the main report that seems to be causing this problem is a reference back to the groupby formula in the main report. The groupby formula is passed in from the VB code and works great without the sub report



Any ideas or SOLUTIONS. Is there some Crystal report sequence, setting, or something special about linking a groupby in a subreport to a groupby in the main report??? Big project and need to solve.
