One of my users has a Laptop running Windows 2000, every time he boots up in the morning or whenever he decides to roll in, the laptop decides to run chkdsk. Now i have checked that the shutdown is being done properly, and it is, and yet it still runs the chkdsk every morning, and it is taking about 2 hours to run. has any one seen this before, and know a way to fix it..? or know of any flags or whatever that need to be cleared before i have to give in and spend the day blatting the HDD...?
