Hi,
I'm using Visual Basic 6.0(SP3). While creating Package for my application the uninstall option is coming in default. But it is not working properly. When i click the uninstall option from menu the following error occurs. "Missing shortcut : Windows is searching for "ST6UNST.exe". How to solve this? Do i have to change anything while creating Package? Thanx for any help.

Have you checked your comp for that file to see if it exists. It might be just that PDW doesn't include that exe.
If you do find it on your comp then make sure that PDW points to the right directory.
If that's not the case, then when creating using the PDW, deselect st6unst.exe and click the add button and add it manualy by going to it's dir and selecting it.

Well ....
I think you should not do anything with the PDW. I have used it many times and the uninstallation works just fine. Check that the shortcut mentioned points to the proper file, and that noone has accidentally deleted that file. I think the solution lies in one of these two.
