win startup
i recently reinstalled xp on my computer and since, ive had this startup message before windows starts that asks me which os i wanna start. the two options are both "win xp pro" and one starts xp normally, and the other tells me there is a file missing so i can't start it. my question is how do i get rid of this startup window and just start the good xp version every time?

look in c:\boot.ini (its a hidden file BTW)
that should figure it out for you...
alternatively go right click on my comp, properties, advanced, startup...the stuff is in there as well.
