using vb to program pic

I don't know if I'm in the right place, but could anyone tell me if you can use vb to program a pic micro controller as opposed to buying microbasic?

Not unless you write a VB bytecode interpreter for this thing. Oh, and of course rewrite the whole VB runtime. You'll probably need to rewrite the compiler too.
