Hi there!
I'm posting this message because i need to know how can i do a program with Winsock available behind a firewall or proxy, i'll be more specific:
My ISP have a proxy, winipcfg always return me the same IP address 10.15.106.237, this isn't my real IP address i get the real one connecting to a SMTP server with telnet and starting manually a session, it returns my real IP address.
When I'm at home I use it for any purpose (i can't use ports below 1024 but anyone bigger works fine) but when i'm on the office with the same ISP I try to do that but I have a complication... I'm sharing internet connection with the MS Shared Internet Connection... when I try to do the same steps I did on house i can't get connections... I try BINDing the port in the appropiate IP address and NETSTAT reports it is listening but i doesn't work...
Anyone can help me?
MS Shared Internet Connection can be the problem? can you suggest me another proxy server?
Thanx in advance for your suggestions....
