The time?
It says it's 8:41, though it's really 4:41 (EST, GMT - 5).
All contents of the above post that aren't somebody elses are mine, not the property of some media corporation.
(Just a heads-up)

I believe they are currently trying to fix a problem involving Daylight Savings Time for the West Coast of the US, so hang in there for a bit.

The forum settings are all correct. I've again asked the system administrators to check the actual time on the server machine.

Okay, final answer is that vBulleting does not support daylight savings time. You an adjust your profile time setting to get the correct time.

(who resides in Indiana where daylight savings is not observed.... )

Actually, we believe it to be the forum software. We believe that the current version of vBulletin doesn't support daylight savings.

My assumption is that the Jupitermedia admins have talked to the vBulletin guys. I'll follow up on this.

Daylight savings time will be fixed in version 3.0 of vBulletin. Until then, the easiest thing to do is adjust your setting by an hour.

Betas of vBulletin 3.0 have been made public. There are a ton of enhancements that include items like personal ratings (which is a big issue on www.CodeGuru.com 's forums. Threaded messages are another big feature. I believe it will be a great upgrade when it finally becomes available.

I think its more than just daylight savings because I have it on Pacific (I'm in CA) and it says it is now 9:13 am instead of 2:13 pm. Which is a bit more than an hour. It doesn't seem like its always been like that either, seem like a recent change.

Finally, someone else has noticed!
Its been that way since june 19th!
Time Warp
I was on the site that day, then at about 11:00 am, went to refresh ChitChat, and I got a Site Unavailable message!
Within an Hour I was able to get back to VBForums, but the Time was all wacked!
Soooooo, I posted that thread, and No one, ABSOLUTELY not a single person, seemed to have noticed the time issue!
Now, Brad, or any PTB, any ideas?

I missed this..., however, I was out last week. Regardless, I've made a change. Let me know if your time is off still by more than an hour. My time is now showing correctly.

yes I know, I am on the west coast. what I said was a sarcastic range. I have been on servers where it was 45 minutes to this one 5 hours, it all varies. but I meant it isn't the daylight savings change that did it. but in fact the server itself.
but the question is, is the board fast or is it slow??

I thought I was just crazy because it seemed that everyone else talked about Daylight Savings being the problem so I assumed they were only an hour off, so I didn't post at first. Its all better now though. Thanks.
