some cnn breaking news
U.S. Army: 11 mobile chemical and biological labs, documents found buried near Karbala. Details to come.

Colin Powel mentioned these same mobile labs to the UN and no one chose to believe him. I think even good old Hans scoffed at the idea. Maybe this will show some people that the inspections in Iraq were useless to disarm Saddam and next time to trust US intelligence more.

Stop it guys. You have been crying bloody murder right since you started finding white and brown powdery stuff around you. Those "More details to come ..." has so far been nothing but assertions that the materials found so far are NOT chemical weapons.

As long as it takes, or an arbitrary deadline that is based on prevailing weather conditions?

Meaning probably some time this week or early next week I think we will see for sure.

You'd think what with the country being 'liberated', anyone that knows anything about these supposed weapons would have spoken out about them by now.
Odd. Very odd.

Your just setting yourself up for an even bigger "I told you so" than when you claimed the Iraqi people were all angry the coalition forces were there. Shortly after that the Iraqi's were dancing in the streets and tearing down images of Saddam.
Your really are a glutton for punishment aren't you :p

If the coalition forces had really found anything to call chemical weapons, I am sure it would have hit the headlines all over the world  I mean it's the last thing the US government would want to keep from the press ;) Wonder why it's not happened yet  ;)

Why? There are a huge number of chemicals that are toxic to man, yet are also used daily in chemical processing plants.

Is this what you're referring to ? (http://www.cnn.com/2003/WORLD/meast/04/15/sprj.irq.no.labs/index.html)
Just a question ...

So this means the Cartoon News network (http://www.cnn.com) says they're no longer suspect?

I don't know. I do know that a lot of 'stories' appear to be 'non-starters' after a while.
Don't ask me why ...

Yeah - imagine if reporters had been "embedded" in Woodward and Bernstein's time.

"We hear that there has been a break-in, an assassination plot, phone taps all over the place suggesting President Nixon did indeed order the death of a rival presidential candidate.
This could blow the whole presidency wide open, Wolf. This is historic and on an unprecendented scale. This is Peter Arnett, live and embedded in the team searching for clues of an assassination plot in the Watergate building. Over to you Wolf"
"Thank you Peter. We'll have more on the story within the hour, the extraordinary story of the president ordering an assassination"
"Peter, what's the latest on the plot ?"
"Err ... well Wolf, preliminary reports suggest that it appears to be a break-in and spy operation only. Leading investigator Woodward told us there was no conclusive proof for an assassination plot but the investigation is far from over so it's safe not to rule anything out. We could still have a plot on our hands only evidence to conclude so is still missing. The search goes on. Over to you Wolf"
"You heard it : the search goes on"
Disclaimer:
This is entirely fictitious (just in case someone gets crazy ideas out there)
