I was once using Access, and when users did a search on my vb application, they could save their search (as a query into access) then go into MS word, mail merge from their Access database, select their saved query, and hey presto a mail merge

Now i want to move to MySQL, and i worked out how to mail merge with it, but im wondering how i would go about saving a query that the user did in my app, so that they can mail merge with those results....

any ideas, post!
