Newbie Question...
Ok Folks... I am still new at this and I dont even know what the proper "word" to call my question would be so I will make it simple...
Forgive me if I posted in the wrong forum btw...
ok here goes..
I am using windows xp pro. I have IIS installed and people can hit my server with no problems... Currently I am using "NO-IP" (www.no-ip.com) to point my domain to my server... ( Only because bellsouth doesnt offer "Static IP" so I had to use this service for my domain...)
Ok what I wanted to know is how do i set up a web server to do something like this...
anything.mydomain.com
for example I want my web server to have a support section so instead of doing: www.mywebsite.com/support/
a user can type: support.mywebsite.com
(and PLEASE someone tell me what that function is called. )
anyone that can point me in the right direction?
Your help is greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks,
Anjari
