I don't think you can do it by DOS Commands since they are limited to simple operations !

Yea, I like batch fiels cuz they do things quietly and they are nice and small whereas vb progs usually are slower

Sleep mode
Well , in .NET environment you can make console applications very easily (just like those patch files) but they need .NET Framework to run them sadly !
