Deploying Windows Application
Hi,
I made a vb windows application ready for deployment. I just want to know what OS can this be deployed. Can this be deployed in a client with Window 98 or lower?
Does someone knows where could I find articles about this? I can't seem to find any from MSDN.
Thanks,
Marivic

It will run on 98 or higher, but all clients will need to have the .NET framework installed to run it. NO there is no way around this.

Thanks for your reply.
Yes, I'm aware that the .Net framework should be installed prior to installation of the application. My next question would be: can .net framework be installed in a Windows 98 client?

Depending on how you build the deployment, you can sometimes include the .NET Framework in the install, so if the user doesn't have it, your install will install it.
