What should be done to Peter Arnett for his unparalleled stupidity?

Well, I'd vote leave him alone, but not because of freedom of press.... but because of his stupidity, he'll never be able to work as a reporter again.... I'd like to see what he does now.... "Would you like fires with that?"
I mean, think about it.....
Q on Job App: "Why did you leave your last job?" A: Because I'm a dumb fart and spilled the beans to the opposing side, despite the fact that the guy sitting across from me was wearing the military unifor of said opponent.

On second thought, I'll banish him to the tabloids.... ;)

thanks goes to honeybee for pointing this (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/2903503.stm) out:
Within hours of his dismissal, Arnett was hired by the Daily Mirror, a UK tabloid newspaper strongly opposed to the war in Iraq.

The newspaper said Arnett had been "Fired by America for telling the truth" in its front page headline.

I should have amended that to read "as a serious reporter"....

He has every right to an opinion, but its not a smart thing to do to give an interview to the enemy you're fighting, and provide them with propoganda. He told them that the coalition's initial plan had failed, which isn't entirely true, but it gave the Iraqi's something to play on TV for the forces. Less people defect and surrender, war goes on longer. Its bad all around.

He even went so far as to say he was a fellow Iraqi Warrior:rolleyes: Telling blatant lies to rile the enemies troops is really bad.. if it were up to me i'd banish him from America as a traitor.
