    Win98 slighty buggered

I've swapped HD's on my machine, copying my original 98 partition (also running W2k & XP) to the new HD. It starts fine, run OK, but the My Documents folder cannot be dragged and dropped to. I can save files to it, but drag and drop anything to it not. Also another clue of the problem might be that it has NO icon in Explorer. I've put another machine running 98 perfectly alonside, and searched/compared/edited all references to "My Documents" /'Mydocs' in registry, to no avail. Any ideas?

You could run the system file checker from the command prompt. SFC /? for a list of options, SFC /scannow is the one you want. You could also try the repair option if you are using IE 6.0. Open the control panel and go to add remove programs, select Micro$oft internet explorer 6.0 and click the add remove button. You should get three options one of them being repair.
PC performance buffs have long measured hardware advances using a few simple metrics: Is it faster? Is it bigger? Does it have more blinky lights?
