I have never used VB6 for the internet but the app. that i am making needs to recieve a text file from another computer that is running the app. basicly a chat program so that i can communicate with my friends. My question is what would be the easyest(best) way to do this? I have been looking at the internet transfer control, and ftp yet i get an error message that i am missing a fce32.dll and am unable to locate it on the net. Thanks for any help anyone can give me. If able please be specific, and remeber that i have no ftp or internet app. experence
