An 'Easter Egg' is a hidden bit of programming in an application, that will run if you know the correct sequence of steps to follow, ... and usually lists the programmers who created the software. Many programs have these embedded in them.
Microsoft's WORD 97 has an unusual hidden 'egg' ... a pinball game that you can play! To discover this free, hidden game, run Word 97 and then follow these steps exactly:

Open a new document.
Type the word "BLUE" (in uppercase and without quotes).

Highlight the word.

From the menu, select "Format" and "Font", and change the color to blue.

Make the word bold-faced.

Click at the end of the word "blue", type a space.

Click "Help" from the menu, select "About Microsoft Word".

Click on the Word icon.

After a few moments, you should see a pinball game on the left with programmer's names scrolling on the right. Right flipper=M, left flipper=Z, exit=ESC
